BASICS: Property of ~ 1’863m2 in a traditional mountain village of the Apokoronas area. The property belongs to a villa complex of 10 private villas placed in very rockery phrygana environment used for grazing sheep, all facing the open sea to the East (spectacular view).

INITIAL SITUATION: The plot was overgrown with wild almonds, partly dead and woody bushes, weeds and building rubble. Lots of nice rocks existed on the plot, so we kept them for decoration purpose.

On the customer’s request, a natural low maintenance garden was created. We cleaned up the rubble, smaller rocks where used for paths and walls and rockeries. Beautiful natural rocks were kept and implemented. Two seating areas were created: 1 small simple under an olive tree and a bigger one in a sheltered corner (Firepit seating area)

Some fertile topsoil was added in border areas. Using of Mediterranean and local plants; Succulent plants and cactus in the back garden without irrigation. The result is a very natural garden with lots of wild, local and Mediterranean plants; flowers attract bees, bumblebees and butterflies.
